Hello,
What is it exactly that you do?
I'm an early career filmmaker, comedian and visual artist. While my main focus is writing and directing my own narrative content, I'm also an experienced Assistant Director for everything from film to commercial and social media content.
In regards to my own work, my genre of choice is comedy and I'm currently working to establish myself as a comedy writer.
Where do you come from?
No, I mean, are you culturally diverse?
Um . . . I was born here.
Oh, okay. Bit of a weird way to phrase that.
Yes! I'm a second generation Congolese-Australian and a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. As a gay man and a transgender person, my ultimate goal is to not only to create art that shares the unique and historically overlooked perspectives that exist within the communities I belong to; but also to create opportunities for people like myself, and to hopefully make it easier to achieve in an industry we continue to be underrepresented in.
So, you're based in Victoria?
Yes, I'm based in Naarm, Victoria.

And, what makes you qualified to do that?
In 2023, I graduated First Class Honours with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film and Television) (Directing) from the Victorian College of the Arts, then returned to the VCA in 2025 to complete a Fine Arts Honours degree which i graduated from the same year. I have produced, written, directed, and edited four of my own films; two of which have found success in both the Australian and international festival circuits
And what's with the black and white hair?
I don''t know, I like it. I think it's kind of cool.
What are your films about?
Right-wing conservative politics and reactionary masculinity; the "mansophere", traditional values, the Far-right. My work typically explores ideas of masculinity, identity, religion, and political satire.
Is "Moo" your real name?
No, but it's also not a chosen name or anything.
My name is "Mireaux" and Moo is just a nickname I've always gone by.
Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Not to be controversial but I'm actually Team Carlisle. I know the age difference would be a little crazy but it's not like Edwards a real teenager either, and might I add he's kind of the only one of them with a job. . . Hello?
